Global Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking a Global Finance Associate Attorney with 2-6 years of experience to support its growing finance practice. The ideal candidate will have experience executing complex finance transactions and credit arrangements, with asset-based lending experience considered a plus.

Duties:

• Execute and manage complex finance transactions, including structuring, negotiating, and closing deals.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents for finance and credit arrangements, ensuring compliance with client objectives and applicable laws.
• Advise clients on financing strategies and credit facilities, ensuring that transactions are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to manage timelines and facilitate successful transaction outcomes.
• Participate in a wide variety of finance transactions, including asset-based lending, syndicated loans, and other credit arrangements.
• Provide counsel to financial institutions, borrowers, and other clients involved in cross-border and domestic financing.
• Stay current on global finance trends, regulations, and legal issues to provide timely advice to clients.

Requirements:

• 2-6 years of experience in executing complex finance transactions and credit arrangements.
• Strong academic credentials, with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Proven experience in a law firm environment working on complex finance matters.
• Asset-based lending experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong legal drafting and negotiating skills.
