Job Overview: A law firm in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Corporate Debt Finance Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for negotiating, structuring, and documenting debt finance transactions, with a preference for expertise in representing private equity sponsors or lenders in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing transactions.

Duties:

  • Negotiate, structure, and document debt finance transactions.
  • Provide legal counsel and support to clients in matters related to corporate debt financing.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including loan agreements, security documents, and opinion letters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to facilitate smooth transaction processes.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in corporate debt finance.
  • Familiarity with negotiating, structuring, and documenting debt finance transactions.
  • Experience representing private equity sponsors or lenders in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing transactions is preferred.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Prior experience in an Am Law 100 law firm is preferred.
  • Must have a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school (classes 2019, 2020, or 2021).
  • Admission to the Georgia Bar.

Education:

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Georgia Bar.
