A law firm in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a skilled and motivated Real Estate Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate transactions, including drafting and revising commercial leases and purchase and sale agreements, as well as experience with title and survey review and closing purchase and sale transactions. This role requires excellent writing, organizational, and analytical skills, along with a keen attention to detail and a genuine interest in the real estate industry.

Duties

  • Draft and revise commercial leases and purchase and sale agreements.
  • Conduct title and survey review for real estate transactions.
  • Manage and close purchase and sale transactions.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand and fulfill their real estate needs.
  • Conduct legal research and provide legal advice on real estate matters.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions in real estate transactions.
  • Review and analyze contracts, legal documents, and other materials.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Attend meetings and networking events to build and maintain industry relationships.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions.
  • Proven experience in drafting and revising commercial leases and purchase and sale agreements.
  • Strong background in title and survey review.
  • Experience in closing purchase and sale transactions.
  • Demonstrated interest in the real estate industry, including participation in organizations such as ULI, NAIOP, or CREFC.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
  • Experience with an AmLaw 200 law firm preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
