Immigration Attorney

Job Overview: We are recruiting on behalf of a law firm seeking an Immigration Attorney to join their team in Falls Church, VA. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse docket of immigration cases, ranging from business immigration and family-based petitions to immigration court matters. Duties:

• Manage a broad caseload of immigration matters including business immigration, family immigration, and court cases.
• Collaborate with legal staff on case strategy and execution.
• Provide legal advice and representation to clients in various stages of the immigration process.
• Prepare legal filings, petitions, and court documents.
• Represent clients in hearings and interviews before immigration courts and government agencies.
• Stay current with changes in immigration laws and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, offering regular updates on their cases.

Requirements:

• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred but not required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to a State Bar (Virginia preferred but not required).

Skills:

• Experience with immigration law, preferably including both family-based and business immigration cases.
• Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
