Job Overview:
A well-established law firm in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Trusts & Estates Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in estate planning and administration. The role involves advising clients on estate planning matters, preparing key documents such as Wills, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, and Trusts, and handling probate-related filings. Additional responsibilities may include representing clients in Orphan's Court litigation and assisting with real estate, business, or other civil litigation matters when needed.

Location:

  • Bensalem, Pennsylvania

Duties:

  • Advise clients on estate planning matters, including drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, and Trusts.
  • Prepare probate documents and manage court filings, such as guardianship petitions and inheritance tax returns.
  • Represent clients in Orphan's Court litigation, including contested wills and trust matters.
  • Handle various aspects of estate administration, including the preparation of necessary filings and reports.
  • Provide litigation support in areas such as real estate, business, or civil claims when needed.
  • Collaborate with clients to structure effective and tailored estate plans that align with their goals.
  • Manage case files, deadlines, and client communications with attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Trusts & Estates law, with a focus on estate planning, probate, and litigation.
  • Experience preparing estate planning documents such as Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Trusts.
  • Familiarity with Orphan's Court litigation and probate court procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania estate, inheritance, and tax laws.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.

  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania (or eligibility to seek prompt admission).
