  • Supervise and mentor junior team members on transactional workflow and documentation

  • Navigate multifaceted deal timelines and regulatory considerations with minimal oversight

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of legal experience in the energy industry at a nationally recognized law firm or comparable in-house legal department

  • Demonstrated experience in either:

    • Project finance with an emphasis on debt structuring (e.g., construction and term loans)

    • Project finance involving tax equity, joint ventures, or renewable asset M&A

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a client-focused mindset

  • Ability to oversee end-to-end transaction processes and manage junior associates

  • Admission to the State Bar of California

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

  • Academic distinction from a top-tier institution preferred

Certifications:

  • Active membership in good standing with the California Bar

Skills:

  • Proficient in negotiating and drafting complex financing and transactional agreements

  • Skilled in handling cross-functional deal teams and collaborating across disciplines
