Job Title: Foreclosure Associate Attorney
Job Location: Southlake, TX

Job Overview:
A prominent law firm seeks a skilled Foreclosure Associate Attorney to manage the intricacies of the foreclosure process, engaging in both routine and complex litigation to serve its institutional clients effectively.

Duties:

  • Oversee all stages of the Non-Judicial Foreclosure process, from initiation to sale.
  • Handle routine and complex litigation related to Replevin cases.
  • Manage pre-litigation matters and assist in clearing titles for real estate.
  • Analyze cases and provide strategic advice to clients.
  • Draft pleadings and motions for court.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution.
  • An active member of the TX State Bar with up-to-date licensing and education.
  • At least 1 year of experience in creditors' rights, real estate, or mortgage servicing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with foreclosure and Replevin processes preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of evidence rules and consumer protection statutes like the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act is advantageous.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Member of the TX State Bar.

Skills:

  • Proficient in managing large caseloads.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
