Position Title: Associate Attorney

Job Overview: An established national law firm specializing in labor and employment defense and business litigation seeks a skilled Associate Attorney for its employment litigation defense team. Located in Brookhaven, GA, this role will involve representing clients in various litigation and administrative matters, defending single-plaintiff cases, participating in hearings, mediations, depositions, and handling other legal proceedings. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced attorney to take on substantial client engagement and strategic decision-making.

Duties:

  • Defend employment litigation cases, focusing on single-plaintiff lawsuits and administrative matters
  • Work closely with clients to develop and implement effective legal strategies
  • Represent clients at hearings, mediations, depositions, and other legal proceedings
  • Conduct legal research, prepare motions, and draft legal documents
  • Engage in settlement negotiations, aiming to resolve cases efficiently and favorably
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced litigators to meet case deadlines and ensure high-quality outcomes

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas
  • 3+ years of experience in litigation, preferably within employment law
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases and maintain attention to detail under tight deadlines
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with a commitment to client satisfaction and excellence

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited ABA law school

Certifications:

  • Active Bar admission in New York and/or New Jersey (additional state admissions are advantageous)

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
