A law firm in Palo Alto is seeking an experienced Lateral Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Data Innovation Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in privacy, cybersecurity, and technology company matters, with a focus on regulatory compliance, government investigations, and litigation. Provide legal counsel on privacy, cybersecurity, and data innovation issues. Handle a broad range of regulatory compliance, government investigations, and related litigation matters.

 

Duties:

  • Advise clients on privacy and cybersecurity compliance requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop compliance strategies.
  • Represent clients in government investigations related to data privacy and cybersecurity.
  • Provide litigation support in privacy and cybersecurity-related matters.
  • Draft and negotiate privacy policies, terms of service, and other legal documents.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a top-tier law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar.
  • 4-9 years of experience in privacy, cybersecurity, and technology company matters.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Experience with Federal Trade Commission consumer protection-related regulatory matters is desirable.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the California State Bar.
