Job Overview:
A reputable and growing law firm based in Sacramento, CA, is seeking a driven and personable Bilingual Associate Attorney who is fluent in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking). This role involves providing legal advice and services in areas such as Estate Planning, Probate, Trust Administration, and Business Law. The firm is focused on delivering client-centered legal representation, emphasizing superior customer service. Training will be provided in the relevant legal practice areas, and the attorney will have access to ongoing career development resources.

Location:

  • Sacramento, CA

Duties:

  • Advise clients on Estate Planning, Probate, Trust Administration, and Business Law matters
  • Prepare and supervise the preparation of legal documents, including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, business contracts, deeds, leases, and corporate formation documents
  • Manage a caseload of Estate Planning, Business, Probate, and Trust Administration cases with supervision
  • Conduct legal research to support client case evaluations and strategies
  • Represent clients at probate court hearings (non-contested)
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, including attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants, to ensure efficient case management
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes and procedures
  • Handle client consultations and provide legal counsel via phone, video, and in person

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Spanish and English (both spoken and written)
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • California Bar license (or passed California Bar exam)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • 3+ years of experience as an attorney (experience in Trusts & Estates or Business Law preferred, but not required)
  • Ability to work with technology platforms
  • High attention to detail and strong legal research skills
  • Empathetic and passionate about helping clients

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in California

Skills:

  • Strong legal drafting, research, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency in working with legal technology tools
  • Empathy and the ability to connect with clients
