Job Overview:

A respected family law firm is seeking a dynamic and empathetic Senior Associate Attorney to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in family law, providing exceptional legal representation with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients, particularly in Wake, Johnston, and Harnett Counties. This position offers the opportunity to work autonomously while collaborating with a supportive team and maintaining a strong commitment to the ethical practice of law.

Location:

Duties:

  • Provide legal representation to clients in family law matters, managing cases from consultation through final resolution.
  • Develop effective strategies to achieve favorable legal outcomes for clients.
  • Maintain professionalism and empathy when guiding clients through the legal process.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
  • Work collaboratively with legal and administrative staff to ensure high-quality service and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee and manage caseloads while ensuring adherence to timelines and legal standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as the lead attorney in family law cases.
  • Experience working in family law jurisdictions such as Wake County is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage caseloads and client relationships autonomously.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance professionalism with empathy in client interactions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining high work standards.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the North Carolina Bar.

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and writing abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
