A law firm in Houston specializing in energy and infrastructure transactions seeks a skilled Mid-Senior Energy Transactional Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and interpersonal abilities, along with extensive experience in financing and/or private M&A transactions.

 

Duties:

  • Handle a variety of energy and infrastructure transactional matters, including financing and private M&A transactions.
  • Provide legal counsel and support to clients on project and energy financing.
  • Assist in energy and infrastructure-related M&A transactions.
  • Navigate tax equity and/or IRA credit matters as they pertain to transactions.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis as required.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York, District of Columbia Bar, or Texas Bar, active and in good standing.
  • 5-6 years of experience in Energy and Infrastructure transactions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in financing and/or private M&A transactions.
  • Preferred experience in project and energy financing and/or energy and infrastructure-related M&A transactions.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the New York, District of Columbia Bar, or Texas Bar, active and in good standing.

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of energy and infrastructure transactions.
  • Ability to handle complex legal matters efficiently and effectively.
