Job Overview:

The Real Estate Attorney will handle various real estate transactions, focusing on acquisition and sales transactions, land development, and financing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the homebuilder and/or apartment developer industry, representing single-family, multi-family, or mixed-use project developers.

Duties:

  • Manage real estate transactions from inception to closing, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and deadlines.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various real estate documents, including purchase agreements, leases, financing agreements, and development agreements.
  • Conduct due diligence investigations and title examinations.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on real estate matters.
  • Represent clients in real estate negotiations, mediation, and litigation as needed.
  • Stay updated on relevant real estate laws, regulations, and market trends.

Requirements:

  • At least 7+ years of experience in real estate transactions, focusing on acquisition and sales transactions, land development, and financing.
  • Experience representing developers in the homebuilder and/or apartment developer industry preferred.
  • Juris has a doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Membership in The Florida Bar.

Education:

  • Juris doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Membership in The Florida Bar.

Skills:

  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and market dynamics.
