Duties

• Lead all phases of civil litigation from initial pleadings through verdict, including trial and potential appeal

• Provide strategic counsel on matters involving liability disputes, professional accountability, and workplace issues

• Draft and argue motions, take and defend depositions, and appear in court as primary counsel

• Work closely with clients to develop litigation strategy and manage case expectations

• Collaborate with fellow attorneys and staff to ensure efficient case handling and consistent client communication

• Analyze case facts, develop legal theories and craft persuasive legal documents

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience practicing in civil litigation

• Current license to practice law in Pennsylvania (mandatory)

• Proven record of courtroom advocacy, including trial experience

• Familiarity with matters involving general liability, construction defects, malpractice, and employment-related litigation

• Background in insurance-related defense is advantageous

• High-level proficiency with litigation support software and legal research tools

• Strong time management, case prioritization, and team coordination abilities

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active and in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar
