Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in San Francisco is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-7 years of general litigation experience, preferably including insurance litigation. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing skills, demonstrate a commitment to the legal field, and exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. They should be motivated, personable, articulate, and capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Assist in deposition preparation and conduct.
• Participate in hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Manage and prioritize multiple cases and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
• 2-7 years of experience in general litigation; experience in insurance litigation is advantageous.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.
• Demonstrated commitment to the legal profession and continuous professional development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Certifications and Skills:

• Admission to the California State Bar.
