Attorney needed for Cape Coral office

A law firm is seeking a proficient Attorney to join their team in Cape Coral, FL. The ideal candidate will have over one year of experience in personal injury, civil litigation, and family law cases, with strong oral and written communication skills, and proficiency in legal research.

Duties:

• Conduct thorough legal research utilizing Westlaw, the Internet, and other sources
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Provide superior oral and written communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Manage and oversee personal injury, civil litigation, and family law cases
• Understand and navigate litigation procedures effectively
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and trials
• Advise clients on legal matters and represent them in legal proceedings
• Stay current with changes in Florida laws and regulations
• Maintain case files and ensure compliance with legal standards and procedures

Requirements:

• Membership in the Florida Bar
• Proficiency in legal research utilizing Westlaw, the Internet, and other sources
• Superior oral and written communication skills
• Understanding of litigation procedures
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Active license to practice law in Florida
