Family Law Attorney

Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a talented Family Law Attorney to join their Bethesda, MD office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience representing clients in a wide range of family law matters, including separation, divorce, custody disputes, spousal and child support, and marital property issues. This is a full-time position offering an opportunity to work with a dynamic team on a busy caseload, while delivering high-quality legal services to clients.

Location:

Duties:

• Manage a busy caseload of family law matters.
• Prepare, draft, and review legal documents, including discovery, motions, and briefs.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Advise and guide clients through complex family law issues with expertise and professionalism.
• Maintain a high level of communication with clients regarding case progress and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing family law.
• Proven ability to handle a high volume of cases efficiently and accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage client expectations and build long-term relationships.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Maryland (Required).

Skills:

• Expertise in family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and property disputes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
