Job Overview

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive reviews and legal analyses of claims and causes of action
• Perform extensive legal research and draft briefs, memoranda, pleadings, and appellate briefs
• Meet annual billing requirements (1950 hours)
• Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, and depositions
• Draft and respond to discovery requests
• Collaborate with expert witnesses, including retention and consultation
• Prepare for and attend trials
• Potential travel requirements based on case needs

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in General Liability, specifically Premises Liability
• Licensed to practice in the State of Florida; additional state licensure is advantageous
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in legal research, with strong written and oral communication abilities
• High level of professionalism and self-motivation, with strong teamwork abilities
• Timely responsiveness to email and phone inquiries
• Exceptional client interaction skills and telephone etiquette

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school

Certifications

• Admission to the Florida State Bar (additional State Bar admissions are a plus)
