Location:

Duties:

• Assist in the legal defense of employers in workers’ compensation claims

• Participate in litigation including depositions, hearings, and trials

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and correspondence

• Advise clients on legal strategy and case developments

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff in case preparation

• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case progress

• Stay informed of relevant changes in Oregon workers’ compensation law

Requirements:

• Admission to the Oregon State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity or bar score transfer

• Interest in or experience with workers’ compensation or employment law

• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills

• Commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn

• Experience in a law firm or legal setting preferred, but not required

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• License to practice law in Oregon or eligibility for admission through alternative routes
