Specialized Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Specialized Litigation Associate Attorney for their Pittsburgh, PA office. The ideal candidate will represent clients on sophisticated domestic and international commercial matters, focusing on energy, utilities, water and light technologies, and other large and complex infrastructure projects.

Job Overview:

• Represent clients on complex commercial litigation matters.
• Handle sophisticated domestic and international commercial cases related to energy, utilities, water and light technologies, and large infrastructure projects.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on commercial litigation cases.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda.
• Prepare for and attend court proceedings, hearings, and depositions.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and clients to develop case strategies and provide legal counsel.
• Manage case files, deadlines, and client communications effectively.
• Participate in case negotiations and settlements as necessary.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of complex commercial litigation experience preferred.
• Excellent academic and professional credentials.
• Stellar written and verbal communication skills.
• Motivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania.
