Senior Bankruptcy (Restructuring) Attorney

Los Angeles office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks senior bankruptcy/financial restructuring attorney with significant complex commercial litigation experience. The candidate will represent bankruptcy plan fiduciaries in the post-confirmation administration of bankruptcy estates, including complying with the debtors' continuing bankruptcy obligations, liquidating estate assets, litigating the estate's remaining causes of action, and making distributions to estate creditors. Will represent corporate and individual debtors and secured and unsecured creditors in a broad range of complex Chapter 11, Chapter 7, and Chapter 13 cases. Represent corporate clients in the prosecution and defense of litigation in California state court, including fraudulent transfer, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty actions. Partner with clients to develop and implement successful legal strategies. Effectively communicate with supervising attorneys, co-counsel, clients, and opposing counsel. Supervise and mentor junior associate attorneys. Conduct and defend depositions, Rule 2004 examinations, and judgment debtor examinations. Represent both debtors and creditors in California assignments for the benefit of creditors. Should be an active member, in good standing, of the State Bar.
