Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Duties:

• Draft various litigation documents, including motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions.
• Represent clients in state and federal courts, appearing for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Manage multi-district litigation cases, demonstrating expertise in handling complex legal issues.
• Ensure all work products are timely, accurate, and high-quality, meeting firm and client expectations.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Adhere to firm policies and practices, maintaining ethical standards and professional conduct.
• Engage in activities that may include extended periods of computer work, virtual conference calls, and meeting participation as required.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by senior management.

Requirements:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the North Carolina Bar with active and good standing status.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in litigation practice.
• Proven experience drafting litigation documents and appearing in court.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
• Ability to independently manage caseloads and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with persuasive and influential abilities.
• Proficiency in legal research, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking.
• Demonstrated business judgment and project management skills.
