Job Overview: A well-established law firm, specializing in first-party homeowner insurance disputes, is looking for a motivated and experienced Litigation Attorney to join their legal team. The firm represents policyholders in their battles against Florida insurance companies and seeks an attorney who is passionate about advocating for clients and challenging the status quo in the legal and insurance industries. Duties:

• Legal Representation: Manage all aspects of litigation related to homeowner insurance claims, including case initiation, pre-litigation negotiations, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances.
• Client Advocacy: Represent policyholders, ensuring their rights and interests are protected throughout the litigation process.
• Case Management: Handle a caseload of homeowner insurance claims, prioritizing tasks, strategizing, and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research to build strong cases and stay current on relevant legal developments.
• Trial Work: Participate in trials, with a focus on providing strong courtroom representation for clients.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver top-tier legal services.
• Client Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with clients, keeping them updated on case progress and options.
• Business Development: Contribute to the firm's growth by seeking new clients and engaging in marketing and networking activities.

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Florida.
• 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a preference for background in first-party homeowner insurance disputes.
• Trial experience is highly desired.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and stay motivated.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Client-focused approach with dedication to achieving the best results for clients.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Florida Bar license.
