Duties:

• Advise clients on immigration matters and provide strategic legal solutions.
• Represent clients in removal proceedings before Immigration Courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA).
• Manage and organize a diverse caseload, ensuring timely and effective case progression.
• Conduct client intake sessions at detention centers and assist in case preparation.
• Draft and prepare a variety of immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions.
• Review and revise immigration documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutors, and community-based organizations on immigration law matters.
• Meet with prospective clients to discuss cases and provide strategic consultations.
• Develop case strategies and prepare clients/witnesses for testimony before courts and USCIS.
• Provide comprehensive legal analysis to assess potential benefits for clients' cases.
• Draft and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in immigration law.
• Strong case management skills and ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successfully advancing legal cases.
• Familiarity with various immigration case types, including family-based petitions, humanitarian relief, detained cases, and USCIS applications.
• Experience with case management software is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state of Arizona.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the State Bar of Arizona.
