Job Overview

A law firm seeks a passionate and dedicated Associate Attorney to advocate for employees facing workplace injustice, including discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination. Duties

  • Meet with clients to evaluate potential employment law claims.
  • Handle cases related to workplace discrimination, sexual harassment, overtime disputes, FMLA violations, and wrongful termination.
  • Manage the litigation process, including drafting legal documents such as EEOC charges and state charge forms.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and settlement discussions.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, staff, and senior attorneys.
  • Collaborate with government agencies, including EEOC investigators, to build and support cases.

Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Strong advocacy skills and a client-centered approach.
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Prior experience in employment law is beneficial but not required. Training is provided.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Member in good standing of a state bar association.
