Job Overview: A law firm in Los Angeles seeks a Mid-Level Pharmaceutical Patent Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in life sciences or pharmaceutical patent litigation, including Hatch-Waxman litigation, and will provide strategic counsel in disputes within the pharmaceutical sector.

  • Duties:

    • Conduct legal research and analysis related to pharmaceutical patent litigation matters.
    • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
    • Manage discovery processes, including document collection, review, and production.
    • Assist with deposition preparation and witness interviews.
    • Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and client communications.
    • Attend hearings, trials, and arbitrations as necessary.
  • Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in life sciences or pharmaceutical patent litigation, focusing on Hatch-Waxman litigation and dispute counseling.
    • Undergraduate degree in biology, chemistry, or other relevant pharmaceutical industry fields.
    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
    • Admission to the Bar in the United States.
    • Registration to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office, or ability to qualify, is preferred.
