A law firm in Washington, DC is seeking an Antitrust Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of antitrust experience. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated background in civil litigation and class action defense and will be eager to take on significant responsibility early in their career. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of antitrust strategies for clients.
  • Participate in all aspects of civil litigation and class action defense, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to antitrust laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and present cases in court, including oral arguments and witness examinations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client management.
  • Engage in settlement negotiations and mediation processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of antitrust law developments and trends.
  • Build and manage relationships with clients, providing them with timely and accurate legal advice.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of relevant antitrust experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in civil litigation and class action defense.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic credentials are required.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia (or eligible for admission).
