Duties:

  • Represent clients in various immigration matters, including court appearances.
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of immigration documents and forms.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding case status, expectations, and developments.
  • Manage deadlines and ensure timely completion of filings and legal documents.
  • Supervise and collaborate with paralegals on case preparation and documentation.
  • Draft legal briefs, motions, and other written materials as required.
  • Handle tasks delegated by management and meet firm expectations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in immigration law (preferred, but not required).
  • Licensed to practice law through the State Bar Association or licensed to practice immigration law in Texas.
  • No prior disciplinary actions or infractions on record.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Experience in court appearances is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Skilled in negotiation, debate, and persuasion.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active bar license in Texas or eligibility to practice immigration law in Texas.

Skills:
