A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney to join its creditors' rights and commercial litigation team. With a history of success and collaboration, this role offers a unique opportunity for an attorney passionate about litigation and committed to working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in creditors' rights and commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
  • Manage case strategy, engage in discovery, and prepare for trial.
  • Collaborate with legal team members to ensure effective case management and achieve client objectives.
  • Provide sound legal advice to clients, clearly explaining complex legal concepts and potential outcomes.
  • Participate in hearings, settlement negotiations, and trials as necessary.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by regularly communicating case progress and responding to inquiries.

Requirements:

  • Active admission to the Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey bar.
  • Proven ability to handle litigation cases independently or as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues in a hybrid work environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey is required.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis, with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to advocate effectively in court and written documents.
  • Strong organizational and case management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
