Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a seasoned attorney with at least eight years of experience in commercial leasing to join its dynamic Real Estate Group. This role provides an opportunity to engage in substantial transactions while fostering professional growth.

Duties:

• Lead the drafting and negotiation of commercial leases and associated agreements, including term sheets and letters of intent.
• Supervise and mentor junior leasing attorneys.
• Directly interact with clients, opposing counsel, brokers, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with various professionals.
• Deliver timely, high-quality work while managing multiple tasks.
• Cultivate positive relationships within the team and with clients.
• Ensure compliance with firm policies and engage in various work activities.

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in Illinois.
• Minimum of 8 years in commercial leasing and related agreements.

Certifications:

• Active Illinois Bar admission.

Skills:

• Comprehensive understanding of the commercial leasing landscape.
• Experience with diverse property types, including office, retail, and industrial.
