Location:

Duties:

  • Handle a caseload of 35-45 litigation cases focused on real estate (land use) and probate litigation matters
  • Represent clients in court, including hearings, trials, and motions
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
  • Develop case strategies and collaborate with other legal professionals
  • Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and case updates
  • Track and maintain 80-100 billable hours per month
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and other in-person events as required

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Ohio
  • 1-3 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on real estate (land use) and probate litigation
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop effective legal strategies
  • Proficient in legal research, writing, and advocacy, including drafting complex legal documents
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines while maintaining client service standards
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote setting

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Ohio
