Duties:

  • Assist in handling complex litigation related to construction and real estate matters.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Collaborate with clients, attorneys, and staff to develop strategies and case plans.
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitration proceedings.
  • Manage a diverse caseload involving both public and private sector clients.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 0-3 years of experience in construction and real estate litigation.
  • Strong research, drafting, and discovery skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Prior experience with depositions and trials/arbitrations is preferred.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic credentials are required.

Certifications:

  • Must be admitted to the California State Bar.
  • Judicial clerkship or internship experience is a plus.
