The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and negotiating commercial construction contracts and exhibit excellent legal research and writing skills. Duties:

  • Represent clients in construction-related disputes, including commercial litigation and arbitration.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial construction contracts and agreements.
  • Provide legal advice and strategic counsel on construction law matters.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed memoranda and reports.
  • Develop and implement case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Manage all phases of litigation, from pre-litigation planning through trial and appeal.
  • Collaborate with clients, experts, and other stakeholders to build effective cases.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Demonstrate a strong advocacy ability in representing clients' interests effectively.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas.
  • 3-4 years of experience in commercial litigation and construction law matters.
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial construction contracts is a plus.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong, positive presence and advocacy ability.
  • Stellar academic background with entrepreneurial drive and initiative.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
