Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney to join their team in Los Angeles, CA.

Job Overview: The Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney will primarily focus on handling finance matters within the entertainment industry, involving debt and equity financing transactions. The role requires strong drafting and negotiating skills and expertise in entertainment and copyright law.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and third parties verbally and in writing.
• Produce accurate work products and respond to correspondence promptly.
• Meet deadlines and perform work duties as required by firm standards.
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in various activities, including computer work, virtual meetings, and conference calls.
• Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in California.
• 4+ years of experience in entertainment finance at a law firm.
• Experience representing lenders, borrowers, and other parties in financing transactions.
• Strong drafting and negotiating skills in senior secured lending, particularly music, film, and TV financing.
• Knowledge of substantive finance, entertainment, and copyright law.
