A reputable law firm in Scranton, PA, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 1-4 years of litigation experience to join its expanding Workers' Compensation Department. This role offers the opportunity to handle a wide range of complex workers' compensation claims, including high-exposure cases, under the mentorship and guidance of experienced professionals.

Duties

• Litigate workers' compensation claims, including repetitive trauma, occupational disease, death, and hearing loss cases.
• Represent clients from various industries, including construction, manufacturing, health care, retail, technology, and education.
• Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented environment to develop innovative defense strategies for clients.
• Participate in legal research, writing, and case preparation under mentorship, with a pathway toward independent case management.
• Engage in legal discussions and strategic planning for both current and future case assignments.

Requirements

• 1-4 years of litigation experience.
• Demonstrated analytical, writing, research, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work under the mentorship of experienced attorneys and grow into independent case management.
• Strong ability to collaborate in a team environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar membership in Pennsylvania.

Certifications

• Pennsylvania State Bar license or eligibility to be admitted.
