Location:

Duties:

  • Handle consumer financial services litigation cases, including mortgage servicing, FDCPA, FCRA, and RESPA
  • Provide regulatory guidance and assist with investigations initiated by government agencies
  • Collaborate with a national team to resolve litigation in the consumer finance and privacy law sectors
  • Represent clients in court and assist with legal research and case preparation
  • Advise clients on various legal matters within the consumer financial services industry

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in consumer financial services litigation
  • Experience with mortgage servicing, FDCPA, FCRA, RESPA, or similar areas is a plus
  • Strong academic and professional credentials
  • Licensed and in good standing in Texas
  • Admissions to other state bars is a plus

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in Texas (required)
  • Additional state bar memberships are a plus

  • Strong knowledge of consumer financial services laws, including FDCPA, FCRA, and RESPA
