The ideal candidate will handle a variety of litigation matters in both state and federal courts, focusing on consumer claims, breach of contract, general negligence, and other tort claims. This role requires strong legal research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.

Job Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Take and defend depositions of witnesses, including expert witnesses.
  • Prepare discovery requests and responses.
  • Assist in trial preparation and provide trial support.
  • Represent clients in court hearings and other proceedings.
  • Update clients on significant developments through case reporting and conferences.
  • Collaborate with partners on client development and marketing efforts.
  • Manage a varied caseload with strong organizational skills.
  • Continuously develop legal skills through mentoring and training sessions.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
  • 1-10 years of experience in a litigation practice preferred.
  • Experience in both state and federal courts is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to manage deadlines effectively.

Education and Certifications:
