Job Overview:

The Mass Torts Attorney will be responsible for handling mass tort cases, including federal regulatory submissions, compliance matters, and scientific analysis. They will collaborate with legal and scientific professionals to provide exceptional advocacy and counsel.

 

Duties:

  • Handle mass tort cases, including federal regulatory submissions and compliance matters.
  • Utilize knowledge of the Administrative Procedure Act and notice and comment rulemaking.
  • Apply scientific and technical background to legal matters.
  • Conduct research and analyze laws, court decisions, scientific literature, and administrative agency documents.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, scientists, paralegals, and legal practice assistants.
  • Provide exceptional advocacy and counsel to clients.

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent law school and undergraduate academic credentials.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with federal regulatory submissions and compliance.
  • Familiarity with the Administrative Procedure Act and notice and comment rulemaking.
  • Strong scientific and technical background.
  • Licensed in North Carolina, willing to take the next available North Carolina Bar exam, or eligible for admission without examination.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • North Carolina Bar admission or eligibility for admission without examination.
