A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney with the following qualifications:

Job Overview:

  • Serve as a vital litigation team member, assisting with case preparation, legal research, and document drafting.
  • Handle a diverse range of litigation matters in Texas state and federal courts.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and tactics.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy and case development.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Participate in all aspects of the discovery process, including document review, deposition preparation, and witness interviews.
  • Assist with trial preparation and courtroom appearances.
  • Maintain communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and developments.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to case management and file organization.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of litigation experience in both state and federal courts in Texas.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Membership in good standing with the Texas Bar.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client service.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
