Duties

• Case Management:

  • Handle a diverse caseload involving product defects, construction defects, premises liability, and other tort claims.
  • Prepare for and participate in legal proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.

• Client Communication:

  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients and keep them informed about case progress.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure efficient case handling.

• Legal Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies.
  • Develop clear, persuasive legal arguments and deliver exceptional written work.

• Depositions and Trial Preparation:

  • Take and defend depositions, including expert witness depositions.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including second-chair or lead responsibilities.

Requirements

• Licensing:

  • Active license to practice law in Arizona.
  • Additional licensure in other western states (e.g., CA, WA, NM, UT, OR, CO, NV) is highly valued.

• Experience:

  • 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on relevant practice areas.
  • Proven ability to manage cases from inception to resolution.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Arizona (mandatory).
