Job Overview
A growing personal injury law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join its remote team. This position is open to candidates licensed to practice law in California and offers a supportive work environment with a focus on work-life balance.

Duties

  • Develop litigation strategies from start to finish
  • Schedule and conduct depositions of defendants, witnesses, and experts
  • Facilitate mediation and arbitration hearings
  • Review defense responses to discovery and determine necessary actions
  • Propound and respond to discovery requests
  • File and respond to motions during litigation
  • Manage litigation cases and provide updates to the managing attorney

Requirements

  • Active California Bar License
  • Proficiency with legal technology
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Good communication and collaboration abilities
  • Creative and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Strong work ethic and dedication to helping clients

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Valid California Bar License required

Skills

  • Excellent legal writing skills
  • Ability to empathize with clients
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
  • Experience in personal injury law is a plus, but not required
