Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A growing law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join their team in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of litigation experience, including trial work. This role offers the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload, including products liability, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and other personal injury matters. The attorney will manage cases from inception through trial, ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining a high standard of client service. Location:

• Irvine, CA

Duties:

• Represent clients in personal injury cases involving products liability, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and other related matters.
• Draft and file litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, demands, motions, and memoranda of law.
• Guide and advise plaintiffs through the legal process.
• Work with expert witnesses to prepare reports, affidavits, and assist in depositions.
• Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances on behalf of clients.
• Manage cases from preparation through to trial, including drafting motions, jury instructions, and special verdict forms.
• Handle discovery, medical record reviews, and case preparation for trial.
• Take and defend depositions of plaintiffs, experts, and witnesses.
• Draft complaints for motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and more complex injury cases.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions related to various litigation phases, including motions for summary judgment, demurrers, and discovery-related motions.
• Supervise a team of paralegals and support staff as needed.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of litigation experience, including trial experience (Required).
• Active membership and good standing with the California State Bar (Required).
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases and take cases to trial.
• Previous experience supervising paralegals and legal support staff.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Strong writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Self-starter with long-term career goals.
• Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• California State Bar License (Required).
