Job Overview:
A respected law firm based in Atlanta, GA seeks a seasoned and driven litigation attorney with a deep understanding of personal injury law. The ideal candidate will play a central role in representing individuals impacted by negligence, guiding them through every phase of litigation from client consultation to courtroom advocacy. This role calls for a confident legal strategist capable of building trust with clients, managing complex case dynamics, and delivering outstanding results at trial when necessary.

Duties:

• Advocate for clients in personal injury matters, ensuring attentive, empathetic representation

• Conduct in-depth client consultations and maintain consistent communication throughout the legal process

• Handle case preparation, motion practice, depositions, discovery, and pre-trial tasks

• Negotiate settlements and communicate with insurance carriers regarding case status, demands, and offers

• Lead trial proceedings when a resolution cannot be reached through negotiation

• Evaluate legal claims, assess damages, and formulate case strategies

• Contribute to collaborative legal team discussions and knowledge-sharing

• Maintain case documentation and adhere to internal quality control measures

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of litigation experience, preferably within personal injury or tort law

• Proven first-chair trial experience with successful outcomes

• Admission to the State Bar of Georgia in good standing

• Ability to manage a full caseload with minimal oversight

• Proficiency in evaluating and valuing complex claims

• Strong advocacy and negotiation abilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law institution

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Georgia

Skills:

• Exceptional communication both oral and written
