Job Overview: A law firm in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Mid-Level Private Equity Associate Attorney with experience advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will handle complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, equity investments, and general corporate matters.

Duties:

  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables, respond promptly to correspondence, and manage phone calls efficiently.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of work products while meeting deadlines and firm expectations.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships within the firm and with external stakeholders.
  • Adhere to all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including extensive computer work, virtual conference calls, and meetings as required.
  • Perform additional duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience advising on private equity transactions.
  • Previous experience with AmLaw 100 firms or SEC-related work preferred.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Sound business judgment and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team or independently as required.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient research and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Conceptual thinking and ability to influence others persuasively.
  • Management skills to handle complex transactions effectively.
  • Admitted to practice law in Arizona.
