Senior Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks an energetic Senior Associate Attorney to join its civil defense litigation team in Middletown, New Jersey. This position is ideal for an attorney with over 5 years of experience in general litigation, looking to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Duties:

• Manage a variety of civil defense litigation cases, ensuring thorough representation for clients.
• Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive legal documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations to advocate for clients.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and objectives.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and keep them informed of case progress.
• Mentor junior attorneys and support staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the New Jersey Bar is mandatory; New York Bar membership is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in general litigation.
• Strong research and writing skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the New Jersey Bar.
