A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney with experience in insurance coverage defense to join its dynamic team in Chicago, IL. Duties

• Handle multiple case files efficiently in a high-volume setting.

• Draft, prepare, and manage coverage opinion letters and coverage position letters related to first- and third-party insurance claims.

• Conduct thorough legal research and provide accurate assessments.

• Review client documentation and draft comprehensive evaluations and status reports.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience in insurance coverage defense or insurance-related legal matters.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple cases effectively and transition smoothly between tasks.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Illinois.

• Admission to practice in Indiana is highly preferred.
