Duties:

  • Review all conditions precedent to filing actions, including document and financial reviews.
  • Draft and review pleadings and correspondence to initiate legal actions.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in internal systems with findings, documentation, and recommendations.
  • Safeguard confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all client and colleague interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements related to foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections.
  • Handle contested cases, including conducting discovery and representing clients in trials.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership with the Georgia Bar (required); additional bar admissions in other states are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 1 year of litigation or collections experience, with a focus on creditors’ rights preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, volume-driven environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and internal correspondence.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

  • Active bar license in Georgia (Required); additional state licenses are a plus.
