A law firm in Little Rock, AR, is seeking a dedicated Creditor's Rights Attorney with expertise in consumer credit collections and a strong understanding of state laws, particularly those related to consumer collections and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a commitment to superior client care, and the ability to manage cases efficiently using firm resources.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in creditor's rights cases, including court appearances, hearings, and trials.
  • Utilize the firm’s case management and reporting software to manage and track assigned matters effectively.
  • Travel as necessary to attend court hearings, client meetings, and other case-related activities.
  • Apply working knowledge of consumer credit collections and state-specific laws to develop case strategies.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and legal developments.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements with debtors and opposing parties to achieve favorable outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Arkansas in good standing.
  • Should have experience in creditor’s rights, consumer credit collections, or related litigation.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Arkansas state laws pertaining to consumer collections and the FDCPA.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Preferred multi-state licensure to handle cases across different jurisdictions.
