Duties

• Draft legal documents, including motions and pleadings.
• Assist with the discovery process, including issuing and responding to written discovery, administering depositions, and reviewing documents.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategy and development.
• Represent clients in court appearances and depositions.
• Negotiate settlements and manage client relationships effectively.
• Analyze and summarize depositions for case preparation.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Michigan or awaiting bar results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines effectively.
• Familiarity with billing software is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• License to practice law in Michigan (or actively awaiting bar results).
