Job Description:

Duties:

  • Handle injury case litigation from start to finish
  • Take depositions of claimants, physicians, medical experts, and other parties
  • Conduct discovery and perform legal research
  • Stay current with developments in the law
  • Draft pleadings, findings of fact, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents
  • Represent clients at hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations, and other proceedings
  • Communicate with claims representatives and coordinate claims reviews
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
  • Licensed attorney in the state of Nebraska
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Personal Injury Attorney
  • Proven track record in handling personal injury cases
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Self-motivated, organized, and tenacious with a professional disposition
  • Ability to work independently without constant supervision

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Nebraska
